[Make Sure and File on This Flagrant Violation of Article 8!]

They require an ODL carrier to be off of the clock in 8 hours early in the week while at the same time forcing a Non-ODL carrier to work overtime off of their assignment. They acknowledge that it is a violation and simply sign off on a grievance to pay the ODL for 2 hours of overtime and 50% additional for the Non-ODL. The reason for the violation is so that the ODL carrier will be available later in the week and won't have penalty overtime on the 5th day. If they hadn't violated the contract early in the week the ODL carrier would be working penalty overtime after 8 instead of just overtime.  Bryan Rubner - Branch 373
